Mackinack Island is in the northern tip of Michigan. The island does not allow cars so you have to park your car and take a shuttle over to the island. The architecture of the island is turn of the century with beautiful buildings, nature parks and trails, bicycles and horse carriages and many fudge and candy shops. We stayed at the Island House hotel.
