We arrived by air in Calgary and drove to Banff. We stayed at a very nice small hotel, Fox Hotel Banff. We went straight to the Lake Minnewanka boat tour and had great views of the lake. Afterwards, we drove around the area. We went to the motel and had a nice dinner and walked around the town. The next day we headed for Lake Louise. Banff Webcam The day before we were to fly home we returned to Banff for a little while and then stayed overnight in Calgary and the Country Inn and Suites. On the second visit, we toured the Whyte Museum, went up (and down) on the Banff gondola, and went for a dip at Sulphur Mountain's Upper Hot Springs Pool.
